You do not pick up any more.
10Voice answers the calls to your number, works out who is on the other end and what they want, and writes it down for you. When it is you who has to call, it goes — after you have said yes.
It says it is an artificial intelligence in its first sentence. The audio stays on European servers.
The two directions
It answers, and it calls back.
Two different jobs, and it does both. The first takes the interruptions away, the second takes away the calls you have been putting off for three days.
It answers for you
Your number rings and it picks up. Not an answering machine: it talks, asks, works out what this is about and writes it where you will find it.
- Recognises the number and knows if it is a customer you already have
- Works out the reason and how urgent it is, and tells you
- If they ask to be called back, it takes the number and the time
- Whoever is selling something you do not need never reaches you
It calls when you decide
It starts from a task: «call the supplier about the delivery date». The agent proposes the call, you approve it, and off it goes.
- The call is born as a proposal, it never starts on its own
- It sees the project it is about, and knows what was left open
- It reports the answer back onto the task, with the date and what was said
- If nobody answers, it retries when you told it to
A real call
What you find afterwards, instead of «you have a new voicemail».
This is the card it fills in at the end of every phone call. The fields are not a graphic example: they are the ones the product actually writes.
- 10Voice
Bertoni practice, I am the virtual assistant. The doctor is with a patient right now: tell me, I will take it.
- Caller
Good morning, this is Marco Sella from Ferrari Impianti. We were meant to deliver the control unit on Monday but it slips to Thursday.
- 10Voice
Thursday. Is there a time, or is the day enough?
- Caller
Morning, say. If you need me, have someone call back after six, today I am on site.
- 10Voice
Noted: delivery Thursday morning, and we will call you back after six on the number you are calling from. Anything else?

Seven categories, three urgency levels, four possible actions. It is a closed list: the agent picks from those, it does not invent labels you then cannot filter on.
Three calls on a Tuesday
What changes, in practice.
The same ninety seconds on the phone, three different outcomes. None of the three interrupted you.
«I wanted to know where we are»
The agent sees the project, says where it stands and when delivery is due. It does not promise dates that do not exist: if there is no date, it says so and arranges a call back.
Category customer · low urgency · action: none
«I'm calling about your energy supply»
It listens, works out this is an unsolicited pitch, and closes politely. It stays on record in case they call again: nothing reached you.
Category spam · low urgency · action: ignore
«I sent my CV last week»
It takes the name and the role, checks the application arrived, and passes it to whoever handles it instead of to you.
Category recruiting · low urgency · action: delegate
The limits
What it does not do, said here and not on the third call.
A voice agent that promises everything is a voice agent that will embarrass you in front of a customer. These are the real limits.
It says it is an AI, always
First sentence, not an answer if you ask. It does not pretend to be a person, does not invent a first name and does not claim to be in the office.
It commits to nothing on your behalf
It agrees no prices, confirms no dates that are not already written somewhere, accepts no terms. It collects, and the decision stays yours.
It does not put appointments in the calendar yetcoming
Today it notes when to call you back and turns that into a date to close. Writing straight onto the calendar is what we are working on: when it exists, it will be written here.
It is not a hundred-line switchboard
It works on one number, or a few. If you have call-centre volumes with queues and shifts, today we are not the answer — and we say so up front, not on the invoice.
The questions
What gets asked before handing over the number.
Do I have to change number?
No. You can bring yours, or take a new one with your city's area code: Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Naples and others. Porting the number you already have is slower — it needs the migration code from your carrier — but it is done.
Does it always answer, or only when I am away?
However you want. Always, only out of hours, only when you have not picked up after so many rings, or only on a secondary number. It is a setting, not a different version of the product.
And if it misunderstands?
It happens, which is why the card also holds the transcript: you can compare what it understood with what was said. It sends nothing and promises nothing on your behalf, so a mistake costs you a re-read, not a customer.
Where does the audio go?
The phone agent runs on the voice provider's European endpoint, and we do not keep the recording: what remains is the transcript and the card, inside your organisation. The rest is in the data processing agreement.
What does it cost?
Metered, on minutes spoken, and only if you switch it on. There is a monthly cap you set: once it is reached the agent stops answering instead of carrying on spending. We tell you the figures on a call, without a form.
Try it on your own number.
We switch on a trial number with your case: what it should say, who it should recognise, what it must not promise. Then you decide.
